Our patron Kimani Ichung’wah, the board chair Mr. Moses Chege and board member Mr. Sam Watene have today led us in the issuance of school fees cheques for term one of academic year 2025. Our current cohort of 77 students in forms 2, 3 and 4 received a cumulative total of Ksh2,221,736. This is a historic year in our country’s education sector granted that there’s no enrollment of form one students following the transition from the 8-4-4 to the CBC system.
The leadership highlighted our accomplishments with the current and previous cohorts, explicated our aspirations for all our students and outlined the strategies to employ to turn these aspirations to reality. The fast paced world of technology and social media poses a significant challenge to young people and their well-being. Our students were implored not to allow themselves to be distracted by these advancements and instead employ them as resources and tools in their academics.
We were joined by the QUENS Foundation team who provided sanitary towels and hygiene packages to our girls and boys respectively. We wish the entire KICE Foundation fraternity, including our very special stakeholders, the parents and guardians to our students, a wonderful year replete with God’s blessings.
